Siegwerk, X-Rite Pantone Offer COLORWERK FastMatch Cloud

Siegwerk announced the availability of COLORWERK FastMatch Cloud, its next-generation, cloud-based color management solution developed in collaboration with X-Rite Pantone, the global authority in color standards and color science. 

Designed to meet the evolving demands of modern packaging production, the digital solution combines ink formulation, color correction, and quality control (QC) in one integrated system to help printers and converters achieve fast, accurate, and consistent color results across multiple presses, locations, and production processes.

Powered by advanced X-Rite Pantone technology, FastMatch Cloud delivers formula calculations in under 20 seconds – a 50% speed increase compared to previous systems. This rapid response, combined with integrated QC tools, helps converters significantly increase their initial color match rate, thereby reducing ink consumption, minimizing waste, and cutting down on press downtime.

As part of Siegwerk’s global COLORWERK color management program, FastMatch Cloud enables centralized color data management and standardized ink recipes through a secure cloud database accessible 24/7 via any web browser. 

The FastMatch Cloud supports ink formulations based on multiple applications, customer-specific tolerances and selected colorant assortments, enabling consistent color reproduction throughout the entire packaging value chain. 

Full integration with X-Rite Pantone solutions, including PantoneLIVE, ensures that digital color libraries and industry standards are always up to date.

Another key feature of FastMatch Cloud is its ability to use press-returned ink in new matches or batches, minimizing aged ink inventory, which reduces cost and space.
